- Principle Investigators are accountable for the safety of the laboratory staff, students, researchers, and visitors working under their direction or supervision, and must support and model a culture of safety.
- Environmental Health & Safety Management System
- This system is a collaboration between Harvard’s Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) department, Environmental and Safety Compliance Officers (ESCOs), and the Lab Safety Committee. It is tasked with promoting a safe environment, maintaining compliance and managing the multitude of issues associated with environmental health and safety regulations and best practices.
